Imposing Regulations for the payment of welfare benefits under the provisions of the Welfare Benefits Act, No.24 of 2002

- Regulations on payment of Welfare Benefits (Selection of Persons eligible to receive payments) under the provisions of the Welfare Benefits Act, No.24 of 2002 have been published through the Gazette Extraordinary Notification dated 2022‑10‑20. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to submit the said Regulations to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
