Revising the National Medicines Policy of Sri Lanka

- Since approximately 15 years has lapsed from the declaration of the National Medicines Policy which was prepared in the year 2005, it has been found the necessity of revising the said Policy to suit with the present day needs. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to revise the National Medicines Policy through a Committee appointed by the Secretary to the Ministry of Health, was approved by the Cabinet.
