Restructuring of SriLankan Airlines Limited and its Subsidiary Companies

- It has been found appropriate to restructure SriLankan Airlines Limited and its subsidiary companies by transferring a considerable number of shares and management of the company to investors selected through a transparent procurement process. Accordingly, taking into account the proposals made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation, Cabinet decided to assign the task of studying on the manner in which SriLankan Airlines should be restructured and making recommendations to the Cabinet, to the State-Owned Enterprises Restructuring Unit established under the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy.
