Extension of the validity period of the Loan obtained for the National Transmission and Distribution Network Development & Efficiency Improvement Project

- The Loan Agreement related to obtaining a loan amounting to JPY 24,930 million from the Japan International Co-operation Agency for this Project has been signed on 2015 08 11. The validity period of the said loan amount is to be expired on 2022 10 28. The validity period of the said loan amount has to be extended as the the project could not be implemented as planned due to the prevailing situation in the country. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Power and Energy to extend the validity period of the said loan up to 2026 04 28, was approved by the Cabinet.
