Bilateral Air Services Agreement between Sri Lanka and the Kingdom of the Netherlands

- Diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the Kingdom of the Netherlands were established in 1951, and entering into an Air Services Agreement will facilitate the operation of direct passenger and cargo flights between the two countries. It would further enhance tourism, education, trade, investment, agricultural and cultural relations between the two countries. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to enter into a Bilateral Air Services Agreement, based on the matters agreed upon during the discussions between the two countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
