Awarding the contract for providing an Automated Crew Scheduling and Resource Management System for the SriLankan Airlines

- Commercial Airlines across the world implement automated crew scheduling and resource management system for the crew management activities of the Airline. The contract period of the current system of the Srilankan Airlines would expire on 2022‑10‑31. Therefore, the International Competitive Bidding has been followed to procure a suitable service providing agency for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to award the relevant procurement to the CAE Flight Services USA, Inc for a period of five (05) years as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
