Allocation of land blocks from Infrastructure Developed Regional Industrial Estates to set up industries

- The proposal made by the Minister of Industries to allocate 16 land blocks under the Regional Industrial Estates Development Programme for identified 16 investors for 35 years on long term lease basis, as recommended by the Regional Industrial Services Committees which have been established under the Industrial Promotion Act No.46 of 1990 and the Project Evaluation Committee coming under the purview of the Ministry of Industries, was approved by Cabinet.
