Procurement of Muriate of Potash (MOP) Fertilizer required for the Maha Season 2022/23

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2022‑06‑20 has granted approval to procure 40,000 MT of MOP fertilizer required for the Maha season 2022/23, utilizing US$ 50 million provided by the Asian Development Bank. Accordingly, the relevant procurement process has been followed and the proposal made by the Minister of Irrigation to award the relevant contract to the Ameropa Asia Pte. Ltd as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
