Treaty between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Maldives on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters

- Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms to enter into a Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives enabling to avoid various constrains confronted when conducting joint investigations as well as to further strengthen the mutual relation between the two countries.
