Granting leave to be spent within the Island for the Public Officers entitled to pension without causing prejudice to seniority and pension

- In terms of the Cabinet decision dated 2022‑06‑13, a Committee comprising of senior officials has been appointed to submit recommendations pertaining to providing leaves to be spent within the Island to the public officers entitled to pensions without prejudice to their seniority. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government to implement the recommendations submitted by the above Committee pertaining to providing no pay leaves for a maximum period of 05 years, was approved by the Cabinet.
