Establishment of the National Eye Bank Trust of Sri lanka

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2013‑08‑29 has granted approval to establish the National Eye Bank Trust of Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the National Eye Bank Trust of Sri Lanka Bill has been prepared by the Legal Draftsman and the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to publish the said draft Bill in the Government Gazette and submit the same thereafter in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
