Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Cooperation between the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation and the Ministry of Education of the Government of Sri Lanka

- The International Centre for Higher Education Innovation functioning under the auspices of UNESCO has agreed to provide online training to enhance the capacity of staff of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutes of the Public sector. Under that, it has been agreed to provide a platform to access to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Robots, Data Analysis, Machine Vision, Machine Learning, Digital Image processing and Digital Business. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties to implement the said programme, was approved by the Cabinet.
