International day to commemorate air crash victims and their families - Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka

- The Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization at its 5th meeting of the 224th Session has decided to declare 20th February of each year as the International day to commemorate air crash victims and their families. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation to declare 20th February of each year in Sri Lanka also as the Day to commemorate air crash victims and their families, adhering to the above decision, was approved by the Cabinet.
