Signing a Letter of Intent for Developing Defence Cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Defence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka

- An inter-institutional cooperation has been proposed to be established to develop the Defence cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia. The Government of Indonesia has proposed to sign a Letter of Intent to initiate negotiations between two countries for the said purpose and the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the draft Letter of Intent. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E the President in his capacity as the Minister of Defence to sign the said Letter of Intent, was approved by the Cabinet.
