Amendment to the Prevention of Frauds Ordinance

- Taking into account the necessity of making certain consequential amendments to the Prevention of Frauds Ordinance in line with the amendments recommended to be made to the Notaries Ordinance and the Wills Ordinance, the Cabinet at its meeting held on 2021‑10‑18 decided to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare a draft for that purpose. Accordingly, the clearance of the Attorney general has been received for the draft Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman. The proposal made by the Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms to publish the said draft Bill in the Government Gazette and submit the same thereafter to Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
