Installation of a Modern Surveillance System for the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka

- The existing Surveillance System used by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka was installed in the year 2008 and, the need has been found to modernize the said system so as to suit to the present day requirements. It is possible to secure funds required for the purpose under the World Bank funded Financial Sector Modernization Project. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to call for a proposal as a direct procurement from the Millennium IT Software (Pvt) Ltd., a member of the London Stock Exchange Group Technology, which installed the existing Surveillance System and take necessary action to modernize the said system, was approved by the Cabinet.
