Vesting a block of land in extent of 10 acre located at Muthurajawela to the Ceylon Electricity Board

- The Director Board of the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation has granted approval to provide a block of land in extent of 10 acre located adjacent to the Yugadanavi Power Plant at Muthurajawela to the Ceylon Electricity Board for the construction of a 300MW LNG Power Plant and approval of the Director Board of the Ceylon Electricity Board has also been received to purchase the said land block. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to transfer the said block of land to the Ceylon Electricity Board by levying the market value of the said land block estimated by the Chief Government Valuer, was approved by the Cabinet.
