Admission of School children into Grade One of Schools - 2023

- Considering the matters submitted by the principals, the Circular Revision Committee, the Investigation Unit of the Ministry, the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption and the Election Commission relating to the issues which have arisen during the implementation of the Circular issued previously for admission of school children into Grade One of schools and the Court Orders granted in that regard, the Ministry of Education has prepared a new revised circular. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to make applicable the provisions in the said revised circular for admission of school children into Grade One of schools, was approved by the Cabinet.
