Introducing amendments to the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, No.20 of 2009

- Clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the draft Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman to amend the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, No.20 of 2009 as amended by the Sri Lanka Electricity (Amendment) Act, No.31 of 2013. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Power to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and submit the same thereafter in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
