Procurement of Eco-friendly Locally Manufactured Fertilizer for Paddy Cultivation in Yala Season 2022

- The Total estimated land extent to be cultivated for the Yala Season is approximately 600,000 hectares. The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2022‑01‑10 has granted approval to purchase eco-friendly locally manufactured fertilizer for the same. Accordingly, bids have been invited following the National Competitive Bidding and 46 bidders have been identified for the award of bids on the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed procurement Committee. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture to award the contracts for the supply of eco-friendly locally manufactured fertilizer for paddy cultivation in Yala Season 2022 to the said bidders, was approved by the Cabinet.
