Procurement for Supply of 1,900,000 vials of Biphasic Isophane Insulin Injection BP, 30/70, 1000IU/10ml

- International Competitive Bids have been invited for the purchase of this Injection which is used for the treatment of diabetic patients. The Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee has recommended the award of the bid to the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidder, Wockhardt Limited, India. The said recommendation has been confirmed by the Procurement Appeal Board. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to award the contract for supplying only 1.5 million doses of the relevant drug to Wockhardt Limited, India, and to purchase the rest in future depending on the actual consumption in the year 2022, was approved by the cabinet.
