Providing a housing unit to Mr. Herath Mudiyanselage Dinesh Priyantha Herath, the gold medalist in the Javelin Throw event at the 2020 Paralympic Games

- Mr. Herath Mudiyanselage Dinesh Priyantha Herath was competent enough to win a gold medal by making a world record in the Javelin Throw event at the 2020 Paralympic Games, held in Tokyo, Japan, bringing Sri Lanka a glory. As an appreciation to the commitment rendered by him in bringing that glory to the country, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to grant Mr. Dinesh Priyantha Herath a housing unit worth of Rs.14.2 million as a free grant from the Metro Homes Housing Project, Slave Island, implemented by the Urban Development Authority, was approved by the Cabinet.
