Employment of an Independent Consultant for the SPMC -Lotus Pharma Project of the State Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Corporation

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2021 03 08 to establish the SPMC Lotus Pharma Project of the State Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Corporation, in Millewa, Horana. The Cabinet has granted approval on 2021 10 25 to follow international competitive bidding procedure to select a Consultant/ Consultant Firm to implement that project. Accordingly, bids have been called on international competitive basis and the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee has recommended to award the relevant procurement to M/s Meridian Engineers & Consultancy Services, India who is the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidder. Therefore, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to appoint the said firm as the Consultant of the proposed project, was approved by the Cabinet.
