Formalizing the supply of Essential Consumer Goods to the market

- It was decided by the Cabinet to grant its concurrence for the measures taken by H.E. the President to appoint a Committee comprising the following members, to submit policy recommendations and solutions required for ensuring the supply of essential Consumer Goods to the market without shortage:

* Hon. Minister of Finance - Chairman
* Hon. Minister of Trade
* Hon. Minister of Agriculture
* Hon. Minister of Ports & Shipping
* Hon. State Minister of Co-operative Services, Marketing Development and Consumer Protection
* Hon. State Minister of Ornamental Fish, Inland Fish & Prawn Farming, Fishery Harbour Development, Multiday Fishing Activities and Fish Exports
* Hon. State Minister of Livestock, Farm Promotion and Dairy & Egg Related Industries.
