Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Ruhuna and the Northumbria University, England for Strengthening Academic Collaboration

- It has been proposed to enter into an MoU between the University of Ruhuna and the Northumbria University, England for strengthening academic collaboration. This MoU will cover the areas such as exchanging of expertise ideas, obtaining the support of specific subject stream interactions and providing pre-admission to the programmes of Northumbria University for qualified students from the University of Ruhuna. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign the relevant MoU, was approved by the Cabinet.
