Transferring of a block of land located at Mudun Ela, Kelaniya owned by the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation to the Ceylon Electricity Board for the construction of an Electrical Substation

- A request has been made by the Ceylon Electricity Board and Lanka Electricity Company from the Urban Development Authority to grant a block of land in the Kelaniya area to construct a new Electrical Substation to strengthen the electrical transmission system of Kelaniya and Peliyagoda areas. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to vest a portion of 02 roods 26.5 perches of the land acquired by the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation for the Mudun Ela Development Project, to the Ceylon Electricity Board on the valuation of the Chief Government Valuer, was approved by the Cabinet.
