Importation of Rice required to provide at a reasonable price

- The proposal made by the Minister of Trade to import 200,000 MT of Nadu rice and 100,000 of GR 11 Short Grain Rice as substitute for samba to ensure that there are sufficient stocks of rice in the open market, was approved by the Cabinet.
