Industry Support Scheme for Global Promotions by Local Destination Management Companies, Hoteliers and Online Travel Agents

- Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has made arrangements to implement an industry support scheme for global promotions made by local destination management companies, hoteliers and online travel agents under the post COVID - 19 situation. It is expected to provide the said relief for the institutions qualified under the above programme for a maximum period of 06 months, in the year 2022. The Board of Management of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau has granted approval to allocate Rs. 400 million for the proposed programme under its funds. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism to implement the proposed industry support scheme, was approved by the Cabinet.
