Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Education of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary to implement a Scholarship Programme

- With a view to further improving the cooperation between Sri Lanka and Hungary, it has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to grant scholarships to Sri Lankan students during 2022‑2024 under the 'STIPENDIUM HUNGARICUM' Scholarship Program for foreign students implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. Under the said programme, Sri Lankan students will be provided with the opportunity to follow 08 Undergraduate Degrees, 08 Postgraduate Degrees and 04 Doctoral Degrees. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign the said MoU between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, was approved by the Cabinet.
