Amending the Public Administration Circular No. 03/2016 pertaining to the removal of Salary Anomalies in the Teachers' and Principals' Services

- The Cabinet has granted approval to remove the salary anomalies in the Teachers' and Principals' Services based on the set of proposals submitted to the then National Pay Commission by the Ministry of Education in consultation with the Trade Unions in the year 2018 and action has also been taken to allocate necessary provisions through the Budget proposals for the year 2022 to implement the said proposal. Accordingly, the proposals made by the Minister of Education to amend the Public Administration Circular No. 03/2016 to enable to remove the salary anomalies in the Teachers' and Principals' Services including the salary scales to the Teacher Advisors Service, since the said service had not been established at the time of preparation of the relevant proposals in the year 2018, were approved by the Cabinet.
