Procurement for the Supply of 1,800,000 Meropenem Injection 1g Vials

- International Competitive Bids have been invited for the purchase of 1,800,000 Meropenem Injection 1g Vials used to treat for wide range of infections including respiratory tract infections caused by bacteria. three (03) bids have been submitted for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to award the procurement for the supply of 25% of the total injection requirement to Venus Remedies Limited, India, the lowest substantially responsive bidder, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, in the first instance and to decide on awarding the balance quantity of 75% depending on the end-users' comments on the performance of the item, was approved by the Cabinet.
