Granting a plot of land to the famous Singer Yohani Diloka de Silva

- Proposals have been made by various parties and at Parliament to appreciate the artist Yohani Diloka de Silva who has brought fame to Sri Lanka at international level. As such, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs to grant a plot of land in the extent of 9.68 perches adjacent to the plots of land provided on 99 year lease basis to the players of the Sri Lanka Cricket team who won the 1996 World Cup, located in Robert Gunawardena Mawatha, Battaramulla, belonging to the Urban Development Authority (UDA), to the artist Yohani Diloka de Silva as a gift of the Government, was approved by the Cabinet.
