Presenting the Bill for the establishment of Galaha Bhaddrawathi National Bhikkus Care Centre Trust in Parliament

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2014‑10‑16 has granted approval to draft a Bill for establishing a Trust enabling the Galaha Bhaddrawathi National Bhikkus Centre maintained as a Bhikkus Care Center for sick and helpless monks, to function as a legal entity. Accordingly, the clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and present the same thereafter in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
