Expansion of the Sewer Collection Network for Phase 2 - Stage 1 of the Ratmalana/ Moratuwa Wastewater Disposal Project

- It has been planned to further expand the existing sewerage facility under the Stage 1 ‑ Phase 2 of the Ratmalana/Moratuwa Wastewater Disposal Project implemented under the funds of the Government of Sri Lanka and the French Agency for Development (AFD). Bids have been called under the International Competitive Bidding procedure for awarding the relevant contract for the implementation of the said project and 07 bids have been received for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Water Supply to award the respective contract to M/s China Geo Engineering Corporation as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
