Recommendations of the Finance Commission for the Financial Year 2022

- The Finance Commission established in accordance with Article 154R of the Constitution of Sri Lanka, shall make recommendations to H.E. the President on the policies to be followed in the disbursement of funds granted by the Annual Budget for the Provincial Councils. Accordingly, the Finance Commission has made recommendations for the Financial Year 2020 to H.E. the President. As such, the proposal made by H.E. the President to present the said recommendations in Parliament in terms of Article 154R(7) of the Constitution, was approved by the Cabinet.
