East Container Terminal of the Port of Colombo - Phase II- Civil Works

- The Cabinet has previously granted approval to develop the East Container Terminal in phased out manner by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority to operate as a fully owned container terminal. Accordingly, International Competitive Bids have been called for the civil works of Phase II of the the East Container Terminal of the Port of Colombo and 03 bids have been received for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports and Shipping to award the relevant contract to the Joint Venture of Access Engineering PLC and China Harbor Engineering Company Ltd as per the recommendation of the the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee for the said Bids, was approved by the Cabinet.
