Timetable of the Examinations which had been postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic situation

- Schools were fully opened for grade 5 students on 25th October, 2021, after a 06 months of closing down due to Covid-19 pandemic prevailed in 2021. Further, it has been scheduled to open schools for GCE(O/L) and GCE(A/L) students on 08th November, 2021. Therefore, the students expecting to sit for examinations should be given a sufficient period of time to continue their studies, once the schools are opened. Taking those matters into consideration, the Minister of Education submitted the revised timetable for conducting examinations which had been scheduled to be conducted in the year 2021 to the Cabinet and the Cabinet granted its concurrence for the same.

* Grade 5 Scholarship Examination
   Saturday 22nd of January 2022

* GCE(A/L) Examination
   From Monday 07th of February 2022 to Saturday 5th of March 2022

* GCE(O/L) Examination
   From Monday 23rd of May 2022 to Wednesday 01st of June 2022
