Eppawala, Giribawa Water Supply Project

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2020‑11‑30 to implement the Rajanganaya-Nochchiyagama section of the Eppawala, Rajanganaya, Nochchiyagama and Giribawa integrated water supply project under domestic funds and the Eppawala and Giribawa section of the said integrated project on the project proposal submitted by the M/s LR Group of Israel and SBI International Holding AG of Switzerland JV. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Water Supply to award the contract for the implementation of the Eppawala and Giribawa water supply project to M/s LR Group of Israel and SBI International Holding AG of Switzerland JV to a sum of USD 162.66 as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
