Awarding the Long Term Contract for the importation of Diesel within a period of eight months from 2022-01-01 to 2022-08-31

- Bids have been called from the bidders registered at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) to award the Long Term Contract for the importation of 1,137,500 Bbls +10/- 5% of Diesel (0.05% MS) and 262,500 Bbls +10/- 5% of Diesel (0.001% MS) within a period of eight months from 2022‑01‑01 to 2022‑08‑31. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Energy to award the relevant procurement to M/s Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd., Singapore, as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SSCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
