Amendment to the Prevention of Frauds Ordinance

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2021‑07‑19 has granted approval to amend the Notaries Ordinance. In view of taking action in keeping with the said amendments, it has been found necessary to make a consequential amendment to the second section of the Prevention of Frauds Ordinance and to amend the sections 4 and 7 therein as well. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Justice to amend the Prevention of Frauds Ordinance and to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare a draft Bill for the same , was approved by the Cabinet.
