Amendment to the Urban Settlement Development Authority Act No. 36 of 2008

- Approval has been granted on 2019‑02‑05 to amend the Urban Settlement Development Authority Act No. 36 of 2008 enabling to properly execute the activities of the Urban Settlement Development Authority. Few more amendments to be made to the said Act have been later identified in order to maintain the activities of the said Authority in a more formal way. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to amend the Urban Settlement Development Authority Act No. 36 of 2008 incorporating the said amendments and to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare an amended Bill for the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
