Deployment of Ceylon Shipping Cooperation Limited Carrier Ships during the South-West Monsoon Period in 2021

- Expressions of Interest (EoI) have been called from local and international 'Charterers' and 'Commercial Management Companies' to select a suitable Charterer to be deployed in the ships, Mv. Ceylon Breeze and Mv. Ceylon Princess owned by the Ceylon Shipping Corporation Ltd. (CSC) during the South‑West Monsoon period in 2021/2022 (from mid April to mid September). Four (04) institutions have submitted their EoI for this procurement. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports & Shipping to award the Commercial Management Contract of both Mv. Ceylon Breeze and Mv. Ceylon Princess, to M/s Wallem Shipping (Singapore) Pvt. Ltd., as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
