Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2021-10-11

Program on Budget Debate for the Financial Year 2022

- Cabinet noted the following matters submitted by the Hon. Prime Minister to the effect that arrangements have been made to conduct the Program on Budget Debate pertaining to the financial year 2022 as follows.

* to commence the Budget Debate after the submission of budget proposals on 2021‑11‑12 and continue the said Debate up to 2021‑11‑22.

* to commence the Committee Stage Debate of the Budget on 2021‑11‑23 and continue the same up to 2021‑12‑10.

* to conduct the Vote on Third Reading Stage on 2021‑12‑10 at 5.00 p.m.
