Memorandum of Understanding between the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and the Massey University of New Zealand

- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and the Massey University of New Zealand on 12th August 2012, for a period of five (05) years, for mutual co‑operation between the two parties in the field of Higher Education. Necessary action has not been taken to extend the said MoU at expiration of the said period. As per the discussions held between the two parties, it has been agreed to extend the said MoU for a period of five (05) years with effect from 21st August 2021. Accordingly, the proposal made by H. E. the President in his capacity as the Minister of Defence to sign the said MoU, was approved by the Cabinet.
