Amendment to the Civil Procedure Code (Chapter 101)

- With the introduction of a special procedure of the Small Claims Courts, a consequential amendment is required to be made to repeal Chapter LXVI of the Civil Procedure Code which makes provisions for the purpose. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Justice to amend the Civil Procedure Code and to instruct the Legal Draftsman draft legislation for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
