Submission of the Appropriation Bill for the Financial Year 2022 in Parliament

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2021‑07‑26 to draft the Appropriation Bill for the year 2022. The clearance of the Attorney General has been received for the bill drafted accordingly by the Legal Draftsman. Therefore, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance to publish the said bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter present the same in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
