Attracting Airlines to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) to commence Scheduled Operations

- The Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism to complete waiver of the embarkation levy for a period of two (02) years from the date of commencement of operations by international airlines and to offer discounts of landing and parking for the period of next four (04) years, with the objective of promoting the operations of the Mattala Rajapaksha International Airport (MRIA).
