Measuring and Developing the Character Strengths of Wisdom: Research Project on new approaches in Sri Lanka and Philippines

- It has been proposed to implement a Joint Research Project on new approaches in Sri Lanka and the Philippines pertaining to measuring and developing the character strengths of wisdom. The aforesaid Research Project has been planned to be implemented by the University of Colombo and the De La Selle University in Philippines, Waterloo University in Canada and Wake Forest University in America. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to implement the said Research Project and to enter into Agreements with the relevant Universities for the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
