Obtaining the service of a Self-Propelled Barges (SPBS) supplier for lightering (Barging) Coal from the ships to the Jetty of the Lakvijaya Power Station

- Competitive bids have been called for selecting a suitable service supplier for the transportation of coal by barges to the Jetty of the Lakvijaya Power Station. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Ports & Shipping to award the relevant service contract to M/s Shreeji Shipping Limited, as per the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
