Presenting the Regulations promulgated for the revision of fees as per the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code, in Parliament for approval

- In accordance with the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code, all the rates whether between a party or parties or between a Registered Attorney and a client should be taxed by the Registrar of the Court. The Gazette Notification No.2234/67 dated 2021¬07 02 has been published enacting Regulations for amending the rates referred to in the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.994/7 dated 1997 09 24, which had promulgated the said rates previously, to suit the present needs. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Justice, to present the said Regulations in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
